The basic insurance cover is included up to €320.00 and costs
50 - 100 grams €5.25
100 - 250 grams €5.75
250 - 500 grams €6.75
Additional insurance is available if the value of your scrap gold exceeds €320.00.
A charge of €4 is applicable for cover up to €1,500
A charge of €5 for cover up to €2,000
How do I use Registered Post to sell gold to Scrap Gold Buyers?
Before you post:
Ask for a Registered Post label at your local Post Office.
Declare the accurate value (use our gold calculator) of the package you are sending.
Attach the correct postage on to your item.
Your transaction receipt is proof of posting and includes the Track & Trace ID number to track your item.
After you post your gold:
You can track your post online.
You can also view the signature of the recipient online for deliveries in Ireland.
