 Platinum
As a metal platinum is 30 times rarer than gold and Louis XV of France declared platinum is the only metal fit for a king.
It was only used in jewellery manufacture towards the end of the 19th century, as it is a difficult metal to work with.
Our current purchase price for platinum is €10.30 per gram for hallmarked platinum.
Please note if your platinum has no hallmark then it has to be smelted before we can verify and make a payment.
We have a minimum quantity for smelt of 200 grams
